The Geneticists transformed the reliable Merchant’s Cart, which was primarily used to hold various experimental tools, into an effective weapon. While most Alchemists sought learning in various fields of knowledge, some of them concentrated their studies in the alchemic principles of transformation: these alchemists were known as the Geneticists among their peers. Armed with this new knowledge, those elite Whitesmiths become Mechanics. Their quest for fame and fortune has lead them to Juno, and through research of the ancient Juperos civilization they discover a bold new technology - a fusion of magic and machine. No longer content with forging standard weapons, the Whitesmiths once again seek a way to expand their skills. They love nature and worship the grace of the gods.
They desire true freedom and let the wind guide them. Wanderers are the free spirits that don’t want to be restricted by anything or anyone. Minstrels are highly advanced Bards with years of musical experience behind them. Rangers can also use Detonators to explode their traps to inflict maximum damage against their foes. The use of camouflage and Warg-riding allows Rangers to ambush and retreat before the enemy can counterattack.
Rangers have superior maneuverability and Trap skills compared to Hunters and Snipers. Their affinity with nature helps them use the powers of nature freely, and summon spirits to aid them in battle or to heal their allies. Sorcerer are those that awakened by the powers inherited through ancient bloodlines or affinity with spirits. Warlocks specialize in a brand new magic-casting technique: they can read spell books, summon spells to store, and later recall those casted magic spells to instantly cast the spells without any casting delay. Warlocks, unlike Wizards, focus more on causing abnormal status effects on their enemies rather than cause direct magic damage. That is how the Gryphon-riding Royal Guards came to be.
King Schmitz knew that to defend his kingdom from the terrors and chaos of the world he would need a special defense unit that answered only to him. Royal Guards are an elite order of Crusaders and Paladins that originally served under King Schmitz of Glastheim. Although magic from Rune Stones can be casted very quickly and does not consume SP, Rune Knights can only carry so many Rune Stones at a time and they need many materials the create different kinds of Rune Stones. Rune Knights practice a new type of magic derived from Rune Stones.
